On the Thursday 4th December Pete Glen, a multi-media artist from Tayport, demonstrated quick portraits using Goya’s painting of The Happy Beggar and Joan Eardley’s Glasgow Children.
After speaking about his artistic journey, Pete demonstrated tone with different charcoals and a putty rubber, then shape and colour with pastels. The demonstration was informal and encouraged excellent audience participation. Pete’s warm chatty style had people smiling and laughing. It was a fun session.
