Despite the miserable weather there was an excellent turnout at The Perth Art Gallery on Thursday 5th February to be inspired by a demonstration by Alison Price who uses a dynamic and fluid approach to her work using mixed media.
Alison produced 2 examples of work using a live model, demonstrating how to use short observational studies to ‘get one’s eye in’ and then how it is possible to use discarded works as a basis to experiment with mixed media and create a lively and credible image without being too concerned with detail and exact representation.
