DOUGLAS MATTHEWS Died on June 13th 2026

Douglas was one of the PAA’s loved tutors.

He graduated from Glasgow School of Art in 1964 with a degree in Interior Design and Painting, before studying for a post graduate qualification in Fine Art and Teaching.

Douglas was a member of the Glasgow Institute of fine Arts, the RSW and the Society of Industrial Artists and Designers.
